Witan 1s 1-0 Dorkinians 3s

It was a day like any other, until I got a call from Ben Wright less than two hours before the game asking me to show up and help the team in inspiring words, so with the promise of fame and fortune i decided to go. We had the warm up and after some inspiring words from JB we went to war, in less than 5 minutes of the game we almost conceded a goal, Ben Dele tried to dribble his way out of our box and gave the ball to the opponent striker but luckily for us Keir was sharper than Neuer.

Two minutes later Deybson crosses from an corner kick and Dele trying to redeem himself after almost conceding a goal, heads in spectacular fashion and scores with the back of his head into the top corner. Congrats for his first goal for the club.

We had full control of the game and almost scored the second goal after 25 mins, goalmouth scrambler deybson cuts it back, ball bobbles to bangers with a comedy left footer attempt straight into the air, pagey does his best to get his head to it and it trickles wide.

35 mins Tommy who's coming back from a foot injury comes off and Denilson comes in, almost in the end of the first half, Page sends a long ball to the further post, Deybson almost score what would have been a puskas nomination overhead kick.

End of the first half.

50 mins, Tiny Nick our man of the match recovers the ball after an amazing tackle, passed to JB who with in moment of magic, dribbles past 2 opponents and set the motion for a lethal counter attack. Denilson coming from the right, solely focused on the ball run past the defender's, almost hugging the keeper, and demanding the ball, some how the ball reached him. To the surprise of everyone in the pitch he didn't realised what just happened, he was offside by more than 20 yards. The game continues with Denilson still not knowing what happened.

Mins 55' JB starts accusing Tiny Nick of being injured while he was just taking the opposite forwards out of his pockets after denying them every and single one attempt of them reaching our box. Rumours says he's a natural RB, way better than Simon Wright who went shopping with Almos earlier in the day.

70' Denilson who have been caught in an offside position the entire game, receives a great pass, and with a great first touch chipped the keeper, only to be ruled offside, when he was clearly on (petition to bring the VAR to Witan).

75 mins, Nick yellow card for studs up scrape and accumulation of bad but necessary and worthy of Haddock challengers.

80 mins, after another brilliant piece of defending from Tiny Nick, Denilson receives the ball on half way and in great run dribbles past 3 defender's, having over hit the ball running down the line, quite spectacularly slides the oppos LB to recover the all from going out. Holding up the ball until his teammates caught up, the oppo defender fouled the young Portu-Angolan dubbed the new "Manucho" and gets fouled in a dangerous area.

80 mins, winning by only one goal we enter desperate mode with the opposite team putting pressure, long ball to the area, our defence gets confused and starts to panic, no one clears the ball, opponents get the ball and tries to score, but who else but Keir to deny them the goal, with amazing reflexes gets 3 saves in a row.

82 mins, Michael almost caused a massive heart attack in every Witan player present, while dribbling inside our box almost losing the ball in the process.

85 mins Michael tries to dribble 2 defender's only to get tackled and give the ball away, with nothing to lose the opposition initiate what could have been a deadly counter attack if weren't for Michael fuelled with anger for losing the ball running straight in to legs of the opposition player. Roy Keane would have been proud of that.

Last 5 mins: Deybson and Bangers both go down with cramp but can't be subbed off because Jonny Page is already off the pitch injured.

End of the game 1-0 another clean sheet for Witan.
